A farming game? To the uninitiated, it might seem a curious concept, but the HARVEST MOON series has been delighting gamers for years with its unique gameplay and humor. Originally created for the SNES, HARVEST MOON challenges you to raise crops by managing all of the day-to-day tasks that a farmer has to contend with. This time around, the game is entirely in 3D, and the attention to graphic detail is absolutely astounding. There’s a huge group of characters populating the game, and you’ll need to meet all of them and try to glean as much information as you can in order to succeed. Interestingly, you can even try to win the heart of one of the local girls by using sweet-talking and good farming sense. If all goes well, don’t be surprised to find yourself at the wedding chapel before the game’s end. The possibilities are truly endless in the game’s
social realm, but don’t get too distracted the real challenge here is getting your crops ready for the winter, and that won’t be any small task.
